In the book “Anastasia” by Vladimir Megré, Anastasia shares a process of planting seeds in a certain way so that the plants read the conditions of your body and then grow the substances your body needs for optimal health. I have been mesmerised by this concept for many years and now I am finally doing something about it… but before I go into the latest updates of the Anastasia books for me personally – the first place to start is: “Is Anastasia real? And therefore is all this just fiction and all fantasy?“
There is a big debate as to whether Anastasia is a real person or not. It certainly seems real-like but borders on fantasy with some of the “way out there” ideas with Anastasia talking about rays, aliens, flying saucers using fungi and much more through the series. Vladimir, the author and the other main character in this book, writes as though he is sharing his real live experiences with her. There are maps of his voyage, photos of his trips and in the second book he references how he wishes he hadn’t put the information in as he is worried for Anastasia’s safety.
For me personally, I feel she is a real and an extraordinary woman. Whether all she says is true, I, and the rest of us are yet to discover. Which brings me to one of my passions and projects that I am working on in Thriving with Nature. I am on a mission to discover the truth of her process that creates a “garden that heals”. Plants that grow your own personal medicine.
Let’s first look at an excerpt in the book where she first shares the insights on how Nature has all the information you need for your health.
The Seed as a Physician
Anastasia has stated: “Every seed you plant contains within itself an enormous amount of information about the Universe. Nothing made by human hands can compare with this information either in size or accuracy. Through the help of these data the seed knows the exact time, down to the millisecond, when it is to come alive, to grow, what juices it is to take from the Earth, how to make use of the rays of the celesttial bodies – the Sun, Moon and stars – what it is to grow into, what fruit to bring forth. These fruits are designed to sustain Man’s life. More powerfully and effectively than any manufactured drugs of the present or future, these fruits are capable of counteracting and withstanding any disease of the human body. But to this end the seed must know about the human condition. So that during the maturation process it can satiate its fruit with the right correlation of substances to heal a specific individual of his disease, if indeed he has it or is prone to it.”p77, Chapter Eleven, Anastasia by Vladamir Megré
Putting the seeds in your mouth…
Anastasia goes on to describe a process by which you put the seeds in your mouth for at least 9 minutes, cup your hands over for 30 seconds, blow gently on the seeds, show the seeds to the sky for another 30 seconds and then finally plant the seeds in your saliva for at least three days before you water them. There is also a morning and evening process to follow and a few other notes to take into consideration, but overall the main idea here is to give the seeds, and eventually plants, the “information” from your body so that it knows what you need and can grow accordingly.
Well, the first time I read this I was just mesmerised by the idea. It sounded completely way out and a little bit “hippy dippy” but I couldn’t stop thinking – what if this was real?
That was back in 2011, many things happened for me in between then and now, most relevant was that I started to journey through courses and workshops learning more about Permaculture, Syntropic Agroforestry, Regenerative Agriculture and Soil Advocacy. It was during the latter of the courses that I stumbled upon an idea of how this truly could be real.
An understanding of the “hidden half of nature” (as David Montgomery and Anne Biklé would say), revealed the world of the microbial life that not only was vital to plant life inside the soil, but also to our own health inside our digestive system. The big aha moment that suddenly made it viable was the idea that plants themselves cannot absorb the nutrients from the soil alone, they feed their own exudates to microbes that source or produce the nutrients it needs to grow. There is a communication process between the plants and microbes. It’s this idea of communication that made me wonder if the process Anastasia shares, somehow intercepts this communication in a way to help give the message of what our body needs to the plants.
Well, this was enough for me to embark on a journey and start to build the concept of “The Living Supplement Garden“. I have created a free guide summarising how to grow your own Living Supplement Garden. Alongside this I am studying the best regenerative methods to grow fruit and vegetables that help nature thrive, how to grow nutrient dense food that really supports our health. As well as how this all relates to our own microbiome and gut health!
So, the answer to my question – is it really real? I have an innate feeling that this garden truly can connect to us and grow symbiotically with us. However to find the truth, we must first get real with Nature and experiment ourselves… I mean, what is the worst that could happen? You eat some more fruit and vegetables that have a higher nutrient density just because you planted them in a regenerative way?.. Sounds like a win-win to me!
